Elite football Training
These sessions will enable each player to achieve their full potential. They will examine individual techniques, skills and team play. Coaches will also help the team work towards competitive fixtures. At the start of the programme, players will be tested and be given feedback on areas for improvement. These tests will be repeated with targets set for each player. Players will also complete football specific fitness work to improve stamina, strength and core stability. In these sessions players will learn about their own responsibilities in play, along with team work, shape and different systems of play. Players will be encouraged to experience playing in different positions and coaches will try to find the optimum position and role in the games for each player.
It is challenging to demonstrate your football talent in front of invited scouts from professional clubs. The scouts represent all levels of football clubs in the UK and will allow you to play with some of the best quality players in your age group. This is a genuine opportunity for all players to get noticed by club scouts. There are usually between 12 to 15 different professional club scouts in attendance at the trial. Individual player information is also sent to the scouts and the “UK FT” placement officer in advance. Each player has an individual player profile on our website. This information is provided to all scouts in attendance. Attending “UK FT” twice during the academic year gives each player two separate opportunities to impress the scouts. EduKick Manchester players have been selected for further club trials with Crewe Alexandra FC, Bury FC, Accrington Stanley FC, Everton FC and Witton Albion.
Football Evaluation Reports / Progress Reports
At the end of his course, each player and parent will receive a written report, with updated information describing the player’s footballing potential. These are vital for players to be able to assess where they currently stand and allow them to continuously reassess their goals and targets.
